Conwy is where Adam lives and works. Since 2018 he has decorated homes right along this stretch of coast, from Victorian villas below the Great Orme to new build family houses on the estuary side and stone cottages tucked into the valley.
Coastal Conwy asks a lot of paintwork. Salt air, driving rain off the Irish Sea and damp winters find every weak joint and every corner that was rushed. Preparation is where the time goes: burning off tired coats, filling and sanding sills, stabilising bare timber and priming properly before a single topcoat is opened.
Inside, the work runs from a single hallway made good to full house redecorations, hand painted kitchens, specialist wallpaper hanging and hand painted murals, all to the standard Adam has worked to since 1987.
